Bengaluru: A coconut vendor is driven to theft by unpaid online rummy debts

A Tamil Nadu coconut vendor who allegedly lost lakhs of rupees teen patti gold apk while playing online rummy turned to thievery to pay off his debt. The Bengaluru police have identified the seller as Mohan.

According to Bangalore Mirror, Mohan used to steal between 100 and 200 tender coconuts every day after being heavily indebted from his addiction to online rummy.

Although Mohan sells coconuts himself, he was known to go about the city at night stealing coconuts, according to reports. He would go throughout the city in his taxi the next day, trying to sell the stolen coconuts.


He is said to have been involved in numerous thefts that happened all across the city. A sensitive coconut vendor named Rajanna lodged a complaint at the Girinagar Police Station after seeing a consistent loss of coconuts over night at his storage facility.
